Stacy is the author of more than 15 books on nature, gardening, and the great outdoors. Her titles include Plants You Can’t Kill, Plants That Can Kill, Ranger Rick Goes to the National Parks, We ❤ Nature, Project Garden, The Secret Lives of Animals, and the National Outdoor Book Award winner, The Kids’ Outdoor Advenutre Book. Stacy writes on a wide range of topics, and she always has more ideas percolating. Most recently, she’s been working on children’s fiction and nonfiction, finding creative ways to teach kids about great nature topics.
As the former editor of Birds & Blooms magazine, Stacy has more than 10 years of magazine and journalism experience. In addition, she has extensive experience working in books, content marketing, writing educational material, and more.
Stacy is a master gardener and master naturalist. Nautre and the outdoors keep her happy and grounded, and she feels extremely happy to be able to write about things she loves. She’s currently on a mission to visit all the national parks in North America.
